A Family of P&S Alumni
A family with four generations of P&S alumni gather to march at graduation. Pictured left to right are: Joshua Rosenthal'17 with his parents Margaret Fisher'83 and Jonathan Rosenthal’83, and his grandfather George Fisher’48. Joshua's grandmother Mary Stuart Blakely Fisher'48 (wife of George) and great-grandfather Stuart Banyar Blakely (class of 1908) are deceased and also P&S graduates.

P&S 250 at Yankee Stadium
On April 28, P&S celebrated its 250th anniversary with the New York Yankees during a nail-biting game against the Baltimore Orioles at Yankee Stadium. P&S was recognized in honor of its 250th anniversary with an on-field ceremony before the game. These images were highlighted as the "Photo of the Week" by CU168. See more photos.

The College of Physicians & Surgeons partnered with the New York Yankees for a special evening on April 28 at Yankee Stadium. In a special on-field ceremony, the Yankees recognized the school's leaders and partners, including Dean Goldman, Dr. and Mrs. Roy Vagelos, Len Tow, PhD, and Phyllis Mailman. See more photos.
Precision Medicine Forum
The Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) community enjoyed a lively panel discussion at the #ColumbiaPS250 Precision Medicine Forum on April 26. Faculty panelists shared their insights on "Harnessing the Power of the Genome to Meet Medicine's Greatest Challenges." P&S 250th Anniversary AOA Lecture
On March 29, as part of the P&S 250th Anniversary, Dr. Terence Dermody delivered a special AOL Lecture to the CUMC community, "AOA and the Healthcare Transformations of the 21st Century." Dr. Dermody was also invited to give the Harold C. Neu Lecture Medical Grand Rounds, where he presented on "Chikungunya Virus Infection and Disease."
